Free AJAX product filters for WooCommerce: categories, tags, attributes, price slider and stock status. Works with any theme.

== Description ==

Lavia Product Filter Lite lets shoppers narrow your catalogue instantly, without a page reload, while keeping every result shareable through a clean URL.

**What you get in Lite**

* Filter by categories, tags, product attributes, price (dual-handle slider) and stock status
* Checkbox, Radio, Dropdown and Range slider display types
* Live (AJAX) results, shareable URLs, working Back / Forward buttons
* AJAX pagination and WooCommerce sorting stay in sync with the filters
* Dynamic product counts, with "no longer matches" options greyed out
* Active-filter chips with one-click removal
* Mobile off-canvas panel with Apply, Clear, Close and an active-filter badge
* Shortcode `[lavia_product_filter id="123"]`
* RTL and LTR, translation ready, accessible (keyboard, focus trap, live region)
* No theme dependency, no jQuery on the front end, assets loaded only where a filter is used

**Lite limits**

* 1 published preset, up to 3 filters per preset
* Sidebar layout and the default look

**Lavia Product Filter Pro adds**

* Unlimited presets and filters
* Color and image swatches for attributes
* On sale, Featured, Rating and Product search filters
* Brand and custom taxonomy filters
* Multi select, Toggle and Stars display types, AND logic for multiple selections
* Horizontal bar layout and full color / shape customization
* Elementor widget and Gutenberg block

Your presets and settings carry over to Pro automatically: install Pro, and Lite pauses itself.

**Security and quality**

Nonces and capability checks on every admin action, strict whitelist validation of every URL parameter, prepared SQL, escaped output, no PHP unserialization of user data.

== Installation ==

1. Make sure WooCommerce is active.
2. Upload the plugin ZIP in Plugins > Add New > Upload Plugin, then activate it.
3. Go to WooCommerce > Product Filters > Add Preset, add your filters and publish.
4. Place the filter above your products with the shortcode `[lavia_product_filter id="123"]`.

== Frequently Asked Questions ==

= Does it work with my theme? =

Yes. It reads the standard WooCommerce product list, pagination and result-count markup. If your theme uses custom containers, enter CSS selectors under WooCommerce > Filter Settings > Theme compatibility.

= Where do I place the filter? =

Anywhere on a page that shows the products: a sidebar widget, a text/HTML/shortcode block above the grid, or a template. A single filter on a page filters that page's product list.

= Can I override the HTML? =

Yes. Copy any file from the plugin's `templates/` folder to `your-theme/lavia-product-filter/` and edit it.

= What is the URL format? =

`?lpf_product_cat=shoes,boots&lpf_pa_color=red&min_price=10&max_price=99` — `lpf_{taxonomy}`, `lpf_stock`, and WooCommerce's own `min_price` / `max_price`.

= I upgraded to Pro. Do I lose my filters? =

No. Lite and Pro share the same presets and settings. Activate Pro, then delete Lite.

= Is data removed when I delete the plugin? =

Not unless you enable "Delete all plugin data" in the settings. Your presets are kept by default.

= Developer hooks =

Filters: `lavia_pf_force_assets` (bool), `lavia_pf_runtime_config` (array), `lavia_pf_max_terms` (int, taxonomy, filter), `lavia_pfl_upgrade_url` (string).
JavaScript: the `lpf:updated` event on `document` (and `lpf_updated` on `document.body` when jQuery is present) fires after every update.
